RMNC ride the length of Wales

Wanting to keep our carbon footprint low, we kept our 2020 team trip local and went to ride the length of Wales.

We found landscapes to rival anywhere on Earth, terrain as tough as any we’ve ridden, and a much-needed moment to connect with the great outdoors.

Day 1: Llandudno - Ffestiniog

Back together for the first time since before the world changed.

Castles, slate mines, hikes, rain, fish & chips.

Day 2: Ffestiniog - Machynlleth

A feast of a day, ups, downs, rain, spare disc pads, and a Pot Noodle saviour.

Stwlyn Dam. Harlech. Tal-y-bont. Dolgellau. Dyfi.

Day 3: Machynlleth - Rhayader

A valley of dams, spilt blood, a rescued sheep.

Ffwrnais. Ysbyty Cynfyn. Cwmystwyth. Elan Valley.

Day 4: Rhayader - Ystalyfera

Sun in the valleys. A Landlord’s story of a lost summer and tourist-dependant businesses on a cliff edge.

Wye. Devil’s Staircase. Llyn Brianne. Black Mountain.

Day 5: Ystalyfera - Cardiff

Last push into the wind, pick ‘n’ mix, ten pin bowling, Tiny Rebel brewery. Fin.
